1979Rick stays on with David concentrating on commercial construction and Steve begins directing company towards construction management in 1983.

Corporate name changed to Morette Company when Rick Morette became sole owner in 2001.

2005In July 2009, Rick Morette passes away and his son, Michael Morette becomes Morette Co.’s President, supported by Vice President, Sharon Morette (wife), and Comptroller, Nikki Morette Bell (daughter).
2009In 2010, the Margaritaville Beach Hotel became the first completed project under Michael's direction after father Rick Morette passed.
2010In 2011, the Baptist Health Care West Campus Expansion became the first project fully led by Michael from bid to completion.
2011In 2018, Morette Co. completed the Pensacola Christian College Rice Tower Residence Hall.
